The machinery sector, which establishes factories and brigades, is the basis of production. The machinery sector is the basis for the existence of industries such as agriculture, food, construction, mining, and defense, from electronics to the transportation sector. The machinery sector ensures that production can start, become industrialized, and be sustainable.

The machinery sector has accelerated its development with the use of mechanical benches that enable more efficient use of water and steam power, and at the point where today's technology has reached, dark factories have begun to be established. This change affects the production capabilities and costs of our companies in the micro level to the extent that they adapt to the developing machinery technology, and determines the competitive power of countries in the macro level.

The development of the machinery sector ensures its development in proportion to the share that the companies in the sector allocate to R&D and P&D activities, and ensuring that the development is sustainable is possible with Vocational Education and University-Industry-Public cooperation.

MÜSİAD Machinery Sector Board, with the motto of “Producing Turkey”, has adopted the vision of supporting the sustainable growth of the Turkish Machinery Industry, ensuring its compliance with production technologies that can compete in the international arena, developing pioneering production technologies and ensuring the maturation of high-quality high-tech products, contributing to the development of the sector domestically and internationally; ensuring cooperation and coordination among MÜSİAD members with different sectors, providing opinions and suggestions for the benefit of our sector on laws, decrees and regulations concerning the sector; creating awareness on important issues such as R&D/P&D and vocational training and undertaking exemplary projects, conveying the problems of the sector to public-private institutions in contact with stakeholder civil society organizations and offering solution suggestions.

The vision of the Machinery Sector Board is to contribute to the domestic and international development of the Turkish Machinery Sector, to ensure cooperation and coordination among MUSIAD members with different sectors, to submit proposals for the benefit of our sector regarding laws, decrees and regulations concerning the sector, to raise awareness on important issues such as R&D, P&D and vocational training, to convey the problems of the sector to public/private institutions in contact with stakeholder civil society organizations, and to offer solution suggestions.
